Extend the operating environment

Keep what works. Connect what matters.

MajuWorks Connect integrates retained applications and authorised data sources so information can move through the business with defined ownership, controls and failure handling.

01When Connect is appropriate

Integration can be better than replacement.

A legacy or specialist system may continue to perform its role well. The problem may be that it does not exchange information reliably with finance, sales, inventory, reporting or newer applications. MajuWorks first determines which systems should remain, which data each system owns and what information must move between them.

02Integration patterns

Interfaces selected according to system capability and risk.

  • APIs for documented, controlled system interaction
  • Webhooks or events for near-real-time updates
  • Scheduled data exchange for appropriate batch processes
  • Secure file exchange where APIs are unavailable
  • Database-level integration only where technically and operationally appropriate
  • User-interface automation only where more reliable interfaces are unavailable and the risk is acceptable

03Engineering requirements

A connection is not complete when data merely moves.

Every integration should define:

  • Source and destination systems
  • Data owner and system of record
  • Trigger, frequency and expected volume
  • Authentication and permissions
  • Validation and transformation rules
  • Duplicate and idempotency handling
  • Error queue, retry and escalation behaviour
  • Logging and monitoring
  • Reconciliation method
  • Change and version management
